Stacy Willhelm | Elementary Principal for K-6
Mrs. Stacy Willhelm is a native Abilenian, who graduated from Cooper High School in 1986. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. Willhelm has been in the Education field for 25 years, starting her career teaching 5th grade math and Science in San Antonio. She taught first grade for Northside ISD’s pilot year-round program before moving back to Abilene in 1999.
Mrs. Willhelm home-schooled her boys for a few years before co-founding a private Christian school in 2007. She taught second through sixth grade all subject areas and was the Principal for four years. Mrs. Willhelm began teaching third grade at Texas Leadership of Abilene in the fall of 2015, when the doors opened. She has served the community of TLCA as the instructional coach for two years and is very excited to begin working as the Principal for Kindergarten through 6th Grade.
Mrs. Willhelm currently serves on the Abilene Philharmonic Guild. She has been married to Kevin for thirty years. Together they have three children: Austin, Dillon and Ella.

Casey Stone | Secondary Principal for 7-11th
Mr. Casey Stone was born and raised in DeLeon, TX, and graduated from DeLeon ISD in 1991. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Tarleton State University and a Master in Educational Leadership from Sam Houston State University. Mr. Stone has been in the field of Education for 23 years. Throughout his teaching career, he has taught math subjects ranging from 8th grade math to AP Calculus.
Mr. Stone has been an Administrator at every grade level including some time spent in Federal Programs. His most recent roles were as the Principal at Stamford High School and Merkel Middle School before coming to Texas Leadership of Abilene. Mr. Stone will be stepping into the position of Secondary Principal for 7-11th grade as of the 2020-2021 School Year.
Mr. Stone has been married nearly two years and has two sons and two daughters. He tells us: "I have enjoyed the past two years serving the students, parents and teachers of Texas Leadership of Abilene. I'm also very excited about the future for the school. It is going to be an exciting adventure."
