UIL Realignment for 2022-2023

On February 3, 2022, the University Interscholastic League (UIL) held its biennial realignment for Football, Basketball, and Volleyball.  Texas Leadership of Abilene will make the move from 6-man Division 2 to 11-Man Division 2.

On a selected date, the prior October, schools in Texas turn a student enrollment count. Enrollment count determines which UIL classification each school must compete in. Texas Leadership of Abilene will compete in 2A Football and 1A in Basketball and Volleyball.

“We are extremely excited to be making the move to 11-man this season.  We had some great success in 2021 with 6-man football and as a campus, we are growing tremendously.  We felt like this year would be a good time to make the transition to 11-man and we are excited about the 2022 Season.”, stated Coach Kirk, Texas Leadership of Abilene Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.

The new district for the 2022 Texas HS Football Season will be:
