A little about me...
Hello! I'm Bronwyn (Wyndi) Fischer and I'm a Special Education aide. I'm born and raised in Southern California. I have an AA in Theater arts and a BA in Deaf Studies. I also just received my CDA. I'm married, five years, to my husband, Shannon. We have an amazing daughter, AJ, who is a third-grader here. We have five Dogs, chickens, and a Potbelly pig.
My favorite color's purple. I enjoy the tropical scents of coconut and plumeria. My favorite movies are Beauty and the Beast (1992) and Lilo and Stitch. I love chocolate, especially with raspberries or coconut. Orcas are my favorite animal, being from SoCal, the beach and the Aloha spirit hold a special place in my heart. Disneyland is my home away from home. Where else can a grown woman turn into a magic-loving, Dole whip-eating, gets way too excited to see the characters, please can we ride it one more time, we are so not leaving until the fireworks are over, 5 year old and it be OK?
I love music and I am no stranger to the hairbrush microphone. As a family, we love to camp at the state park and often find ourselves looking through antique stores for special treasures. We are a house divided, I’m a Niners fan while my husband and daughter love Dem Boys! I’m so excited to be starting my second year here at TLCA! GO EAGLES!
MISSION STATEMENT
I work in education because I want to make a positive impact on the world by advocating for our future, no matter what. I chose to express my passion by doing everything in my power to make my students feel loved, encouraged, and respected. I believe that students learn in different ways, and they do best in an environment that, to them, makes them feel safe. We are the one thing, in a world of uncertainty, they can count on. We are their constant. When they enter this building they understand that there is someone they know and trust in their corner.
